Base Access for Family/Friends

Can My Visiting Friends/Family Come on Base?

  • As with other military bases, it is possible to get family and friends access to the base while visiting. Members will either receive a long-term unescorted visitor pass, which is valid for 90 days, or a 4-day Visitor Control Pass. 
  • Note: Long term passes require all documentation to be submitted for review NLT 60 days in advance. 
  • We recommend setting up an appointment prior to the visitor’s arrival to ensure the most expedient processing time. If a visitor arrives after Pass & Registration duty hours, they can be escorted using a 4-Day Visitor Control Pass, which can be requested at the Morin Gate Visitor Center or the Main Walk-In Gate. 
  • Note: 4-Day passes require two forms of ID, and one ID is left with Security Forces for the duration of the pass.
